Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

To Support Finance Manager- Control Assurance to perform internal control and compliance activities to ensure Company is operating in line with Group and local policies and procedures.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work in team to conduct internal process review to highlight risks, weaknesses, lapses or non-compliance to management for rectification and improvement.
  • Understand the internal processes and perform walkthrough based on identified key controls, sampling, testing and identifying exception under guidance/coaching of Manager.
  • Respond to common queries relating to compliance issues from respective departments and give proper guidance on implementation of policies/SOPs;
  • Follow up status of remedial actions and improvement actions for control deficiencies/non-compliance to update line manager.
  • Gather Management Information for reporting purpose.
  • Assist in organizing quarterly Regulatory Compliance Working Team (RCWT) meeting, Internal Control meeting and other training programs.
  • Collate information from and following up with relevant departments regarding compliance issues;
  • Any other responsibilities and ad-hoc tasks.

Job Requirement

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in Auditing (internal or external)/ Finance/ Internal Control/ Compliance/ Risk Management;
  • Experience in Big 4 audit firms or real estate industry is preferable;
  • Good audit mind-set and grounding in concepts of corporate governance, risk management and internal control;
  • Fluent in English for all skills (reading, listening, writing and speaking);
  • Good communication and presentation, negotiation, time management and multi-task skill;
  • Can work independently and in team and under high pressure;
  • High adaptability to work in a complex corporate structure;
  • Positive thinking, learning agility and a “can-do” attitude
