Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

Support the Manager in negotiation of divisional portfolio’s lease within limits of authority, to maximise owner’s rental income within plan, budget parameters and relevant legislation.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and Ensure executed lease documentation and bank guarantee/deposit is received prior to tenant opening for trade
  • Ensure all deals comply with company procedure and the standard of fit-out
  • Develop of long term relationships with office tenants
  • Lease of vacancies and vacancy allowance in asset plan for the divisional portfolio
  • Attend internal leasing meetings, take minutes and report in standard format
  • Notice to Managers of critical tenants when:

+ Tenant has traded under current lease less than 12 months

+ Tenant is up for renewal in less than 6 months

            + Tenant has agreed in writing to surrender lease

  • Visit competing centres when necessary to keep an up to date knowledge of market trends
  • Look for contacts of new Tenants on the markets
  • Information from the marketing department such as exit surveys and demographic information
  • Other duties as instructed by manager

Job Requirement

  • At least 3-year relevant experience
  • Bachelor Degree in Business or Hospitality is preferable
  • Good at communication and negotiation skills
  • Be able to Ensure that all deals are concluded in an ethical and legal manner,
  • Be able to ensure that all deals are concluded in accordance with company policy.
