Job Description


This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the mall. The scope job includes but not limited to the facilities management, safety management, technical services and tenant services. The job incumbent is accountable for the operational readiness of the mall and all contract services to be delivered at high standard. He/She also ensure that all tenants’ operations and layout are subject to the standards governed by the Tenancy Agreement and other guidance established by the Management.


  • Oversee the overall presence of the mall including way-finding and directional  systems in the mall and shop fit-out/ merchandise
  • Coordinate with new tenants to do fit-out work of and provide critical feedback on the design when required
  • Build and maintain a set of operational procedures for the mall
  • Establish and execute the Preventive Maintenance Programme and Energy Saving Program for the mall and ensure that all facilities function well and efficiently
  • Develop and maintain the tenancy service framework and foster positive work relationship with the tenants
  • Manage all operation-related contract services
  • Oversee the safety management of the mall
  • Plan the department budget and manage the spending vs budget
  • Review/Prepare operations reports, ensure the operations record are well-kept on a regular basis
  • Liaise with government agencies and insurance agencies when required; attain and keep all necessary operating licenses
  • Act as the Duty Manager as and when assigned
  • Lead, train and build up the capability of Operations and Maintenance team

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering,  Facilities Management, or equivalent
  • Five to eight years of working experience in commercial property and facilities management, preferably in retail environment
  • Good knowledge of the law/regulations, safety and environmental requirements on building
  • Ability to develop and implement operational strategies
  • Strong Mechanical and Electrical background is an advantage
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under high pressure
  • Fluent in speaking and writing English
